Our Church  

OUR CHURCH Colonial Baptist Church is one of the fastest growing churches in the Maryland/Delaware region. Colonial baptist Church, like many of the churches in the Southern Baptist Convention began as a mission.  It was set apart as a church on July 15, 1945. It began with 25 members. The church started out in an old stone building on Old Court Road near Reisterstown Road. After several other moves, the church moved to its present location in December 1994. We are in the Randallstown community to serve it and to provide opportunities for worship, fellowship, spiritual growth and sharing of the Gospel on every level. Each worship service empowers you to apply God's Word to your daily life and to share the Good News with others. People are changed from within an become a part of a family that works together as one. The family of Colonial Baptist Church welcomes you to participate in the celebration and worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are a group of caring people working to make a difference in the lives of people and the communities in which we live.  Our purpose is to bring about change through preaching, teaching and the application of the Word of God to our lives. HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER At the close of each worship service, we extend an invitation to become a member of Colonial.  When the Pastor extends the invitation, simply leave your seat and walk to the front of the church and the deacons will speak to you briefly. There are three ways in which you can become a member of the church: 1. By Profession of Faith and Baptism If you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and are willing to be baptized by immersion as a testimony of your faith and in obedience to God's Word, we would welcome you as a member. 2. By letter of transfer of membership If you were a member of  another Baptist Church, you can request a letter from your former church and join us by transferring your membership. 3. By statement of faith from a church of like faith and practice If you have already accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and have been baptized by immersion, we welcome you on the basis of your statement of faith.
