I came to Colonial in October 2010. I passed this church for almost 2 years as I made my way through my miserable life. I had a job, but had large bills that consumed most of my earnings. I worked but could barely pay my rent. I was always late and at one point I didn't feel comfortable going to my place since rent was not paid. There were times I just slept at Bus stations, Airport, Hospital Emergency rooms.  I found myself to be a working homeless person.

One day I decided to ask this church for help. It had been in the back of my mind for months to come in and I thank God I finally listened. Not only did the church help me, move me, aided me in my dilemma, but they also provide a spiritual church home for me. I have found some of the most amazing, caring, loving people in this church and my heart grew big and softens. I was able to get back on my feet and move into another place that I could afford.

That was 2 years ago. My story has so much more to it. But to make a long story short, I am still at CBC church working as secretary for Sunday school Ministry, AWANA Ministry and helping my wonderful God fearing Pastor and I love it and would not change a thing. CBC is now my 2^nd home. God has blessed me in a great way by leading me to this church which in turn has leaded me into a wonderful relationship with Jesus. I live with a God who loves me. What more can you ask for?
