Deacon Noble Nemieboka
10/13/2014

My family and I joined Colonial Baptist Church in 1997, after attending for a few years.  I gave my life to Christ as an adolescent in my native country of Nigeria, and rededicated my life to Christ many years later at Colonial Baptist Church.

Colonial Baptist Church has helped me to grow in faith and my walk with the Lord.  One such area of growth is an increased comfort level of sharing the gospel.  My yearly attendance of mission’s conferences and the emphasis that our pastor places on missions from the pulpit are the main reasons for my growth.  The second reason for my growth is the annual interactions with missionaries regarding their obstacles, struggles and success stories as they share the gospel.

Although I resisted in prior years, I finally yielded in 2012 to the call of God and completed my first short term missionary trip to St. Kitts.  My life has forever been changed as I witnessed the fulfillment of Acts 1:8.  Since then I have returned to St. Kitts, and plan to return again in 2014.

My passion is to minister to the youth and the young adults, because statistics tell us that approximately 60 -80% of all Christians accepted Christ while they were young.  Reaching them early pays off.   God has placed that burden in my heart and I thank Him every day for choosing me through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, to be part of His ministry of reconciliation.   II Cor. 5:18-19.  Every Christian has been called to be part of this ministry of reconciliation.
